Before each ride, adjust the seat to fit your height. Find the clamp lever at the bottom of the seat post. Next, pull it open either up or outwards (this will depend on the type of clamp on your bike). Now raise or lower the seat until it’s about hip height. Then push the lever closed and you’re set.
It’s a good idea to squeeze the brakes and make sure there’s good resistance, and to check the tires to make sure they’re not flat. Please see our Rules of the Road for more pre-ride safety tips.
