Annual Memberships

Citi Bike Annual Memberships renew automatically one year after the purchase date. 

To cancel your Citi Bike Annual Membership, go to Menu > Select your membership > Manage plan > Cancel plan. Your membership perks will continue until the end of your current billing cycle, but you will not be charged moving forward.

Annual members are eligible for a refund of their membership fee if requested within 14 days of the original purchase or renewal date. A refund will immediately end your membership perks. We do not refund or credit for partially used memberships beyond the first 14 days.

Corporate Memberships

Citi Bike for Business Memberships are good for one year, but do not renew automatically. If you need to renew a membership into your company’s program, wait until your current membership expires, then work with your employer to receive a new promo code to sign-up for the membership again. 

If an employee leaves the company, there is no action required by the program manager. The employee’s membership will still be good for a full year, but they will be responsible for renewing into a regular Annual Membership.

Reduced Fare Bike Share

Citi Bike’s Reduced Fare Bike Share program is set to automatically renew each month for one year when you sign up. Members will receive a reminder email 5 days before the next automatic monthly membership payment so adjustments to their membership can be made if needed.

If you have opted out of automatically renewing the membership each month, you can manually renew your membership for another month by going to your profile. After one year has passed, you will need to renew your membership through your Citi Bike account.

Lyft Pink

A Lyft Pink membership gives you member-exclusive perks and pricing, including bike and scooter benefits, and the Lyft Pink All Access plan has additional bike and scooter benefits. For more information on managing your Lyft Pink membership, visit the Lyft Help Center.

Note: Citi Bike members, Lyft Pink All Access members, and Reduced Fare Bike Share members will now receive 60 free ebike minutes upon every annual renewal. Current members (as of 01/04/24) will also receive a prorated number of minutes based on the remaining time until their annual renewal.
