Citi Bike is always looking for opportunities to expand and provide a greater service area. Since its launch in 2013 in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, Citi Bike has expanded to upper Manhattan, Queens and Jersey City. Plans for this year's expansion include Harlem, more coverage on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side, and more neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens.
Please know that NYC Department of Transportation and local community boards play a major role in deciding where bike share stations will be located. Any suggestions you have concerning Citi Bike’s station locations should be submitted to NYC DOT via the community outreach and siting form, which you can find on the DOT website. Or, you may call 311 with your comments. You can suggest station locations as well.
In time we look forward to expanding bike share to neighborhoods across New York City.
