If your Citi Bike gets lost, goes missing, or gets stolen, please contact Citi Bike customer service, now supported by Lyft. You must do this within 24 hours.
Bikes that are lost or stolen and do not return to the system are subject to a $1200 fee (plus tax) charged to the account holder that took out the bike.
Please remember to always look for the GREEN light each time you dock the bike to make sure that the bike is securely locked and your trip is closed. Otherwise, we will continue to charge you for your trip, and we do not have a way to verify whether or not the bike is safely secured at a station.
