If you have an open rental and you're still enjoying your ride, no problem! Feel free to keep riding. If you are riding on a day-pass or 3-day pass, the first 30 minutes of each ride is included in the price of your pass. Each additional 15 minutes costs just $4. If you're an annual member, the first 45 minutes of each ride is included and each additional 15 minutes costs just $2.50.
If you have an open rental and you've already returned the bike, did you get a green light when you docked? If not, the bike was not properly docked. If you remember where you docked the bike, return to that station and re-dock the bike until you get a green light as in the picture below.
If you received an email that your bike is out, but are confident you got a green light upon return, it's possible the station has stopped communicating to our software backend. If this is the case, the issue will normally resolve itself in a couple of hours. Log in to your account. Click on Account Summary and look at the Last Trip section. Make sure it has an end date/time.
